Leahlani Skincare Review: 2024 Buying Guide

February 14, 2017 (updated January 31, 2023) — Written by

Meet Leahlani! This Hawaii-based artisanal skincare collection is extra in every way. Extra local, extra hand-crafted, extra colorful, extra sensational and extra beautiful. It’s infused with the island’s abundant blooming botanicals, vibrant fruit nectars, and lush tropical beauty oils—it’s so expressive of its roots that it’s got my prana doing the Cabbage Patch (anyone?!). Here are my top picks.

Meet Leahlani Skincare

If the words holistic skincare expert, licensed esthetician, and botanical alchemist mean anything to you, you are going to want to get to know Leah Klasovsky founder / formulator of Leahlani Skincare

Leah started Leahlani over 10 years ago after her personal struggles with cystic acne. She recognized that her body was out of balance and set out on a quest to find healing. Through this journey she discovered holistic skincare and was inspired to create a line that would “transform a routine into ritual.”

Leah is a pioneer in ethical beauty and one of the first luxury brands to hit the market (way back when), offering zero compromises when it comes to skincare. When I think of Leahlani, I think of decadent aromas, rich, potent formulas, beautiful colors, chic packaging and the lushness of Hawaii. Currently, their products are made fresh weekly in small batches in their private studio on the lush North Shore of Kauai Island.

I had the pleasure of meeting Leah a few years back at the 2017 ShiftCon conference in California. She is such a beauty—both inside and out. It would be a literal dream to be able to visit her studio some day. (Just putting it out there!)

Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of trying the entire Leahlani collection as it’s grown and evolved via packaging changes, formula tweaks and new drops. These are my top picks.

I am going to take out a small loan and buy up all of these wonderful products! HAHA 🙂 Seriously, though, I have heard much praise over this brand, and I would like to try it out………one day, perhaps.
