How beautiful are these handmade bath salts and body oil!!?? This family owned, small business in Fresno, CA really did everything right here.
First lets talk ingredients. No, first lets talk aesthetics. How pretty is this packaging? It’s the perfect balance of simplicity and elegance. I love the color and complexity of the bath salts and can you see the rosebuds in the body oil? A feminine, elegant touch. The ingredients and directions are all listed on the outside of this parcel packaging and the inside is kissed with a hand stamped detail. It’s this beautiful packaging and thoughtfully selected ingredients that sets this product apart.
Okay now lets take a peek at the body oil ingredients:

Self care at its best. At 4oz, this oil is a great size and goes on clean. The light essence of jasmine and rose play with your olfactory senses sending you to a fresh cut wildflower field at night. The oil is a light to medium weight and gently moisturizes skin, hair and face. My mom and sister have both used it too and my sister commented that she loves how it soaks right in while my mom is obsessed with the smell. Like, I sat down next to her one night after washing up and she goes – Wow! What is that? It smells so nice! (And then she proceeded to use it everyday since). I agree with both of them but my fav by far is those rosebuds. I mean really – so adorable. It can be used straight up, layered or blended with any other face or body care products.
Now, I have to admit, I’m not a huge bath girl and that’s mostly because I don’t own a soaker tub. My tub is about 12” deep and I am 5’ 10” – a full tub wouldn’t even cover by belly button so it’s not on the top of my list of relaxation activities. BUT Amaki sent me these products to try when I was on vacation and I had access to a huge tub so a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.
A night of overindulgence led to a steam and a bath the next morning. I have to admit because of this I was gifted one of the sweetest moments motherhood has offered. I filled the tub and made two bath salt tea bags. (You can choose to use the included tea bags or not but it is a nice way to contain the bits and makes cleanup a cinch. For a foot soak I would probably go wild and crazy and skip the tea bags. My sister did and she said it was AMAZING!) The smell of lavender flowers, rose petals and essential oils is true aromatherapy. My younger son Quinn who talks about the “poo” (pool) all day and would give anything for water-play asked to join me so of course I said yes. He has a mild case of eczema and the epsom and dead sea salts are great for circulation stimulation, increased moisture retention, promotion of cellular regeneration, detoxification and helps heal dry, scaling and irritated skin.
As I ran the salt water over his back I realized I had never taken a bath with either of my boys. I thought about my four year old and how he all of a sudden seemed too old for this. This mommy/baby moment almost passed me by and it made me really stop and appreciate his littleness. This was such a beautiful gift. A family moment I will surly cherish as my two-year-old continues to get bigger and my tub continues to get smaller.
