Green Beauty Empties!

Product is quickly taking over our house – and my husband will be the first to tell you. All my dreams came true when we moved into the house we are renting in Atlanta because, first of all it has a master, and second an en suite! So the minute we started unpacking my hubs goes, okay so you can have this bathroom and I’ll share one with the boys down the hall (He knows what’s up). So just to illustrate the sheer volume of goods; that bathroom is filled with product as well as the hall closest that abuts it. But don’t get me wrong, I love it.

I mention this because I often will test a product and then when I finish testing it, it’s on to the next one. So fun right? Totally, but it also means moving on from some really great products. That being said, there are some products that I just can’t let go of. Like, I try to move on but I just keep going back! Sometimes I even go as far as walking them down to my R.I.P. closet only to resurrect them the next morning.

All of this to say. Finishing a product is rare for me BUT when it happens you know it is something special because I just couldn’t put it down. So these are my empties from last summer until now. I’ve kept them aside to round up for you when I had enough to post about. Here we go!

Josh Rosebrook – All The Goods
josh rosebrook faves

Okay so Josh Rosebrook is a company that is unparalleled in sourcing, formulation and integrity. Just one look at any of his ingredient lists and you will be week in the knees. Organic skincare is the name of Josh’s game. And I’m talking REAL organic skincare – he doesn’t just add a few organic ingredients and call it organic – ALL of the plant ingredients he considers are organic – except for maybe a rogue walnut shell. It’s pretty outstanding. Here are a few things I have blown through.

RELATED:  16 Organic Beauty Sales

Active Enzyme Exfoliator: This exfoliator works in two ways. Herbal enzymes gently slough off dead skin while finely ground walnut shells mechanically work to reveal new skin. You can use this as an exfoliating wash or let it sit as a mask for up to an hour. I’ve done both and it is phenomenal both ways. My skin has never looked so radiant, new, glowing and fresh. It’s just the best. $60

Moisturizing Cleanser: I love cleansing my skin with oil and then going back in with a very gentle cleanser to finish the job. Josh’s moisturizing cleanser is just the thing. It leaves skin balanced while removing any extra dirt, grime or makeup. Since I waited so long to write about this, it looks like Josh has reformulated and is now offering the Complete Moisture Cleanse; um, just added it to my cart. $50

Firm Hold Hairspray: Okay so Josh’s hairspray was in my last empties post too but I had to include it again because I’ve had SEVERAL of these empties and lets be honest, it’s just that good not to mention again. Okay where to I start. First of all, it’s by far the cleanest hairspray on the market. It works. Smells fantastic. Has a medium hold and can be layered to achieve a strong hold (like strong enough to hold your 80s prom up-do). Made with non-GMO corn extract, vegetable glycerin, organic xanthan gum, postassium sorbate, vitamins A,C &E and organic essential oils (that’s the full ingredient list!). This formula is the real deal. $22

Ethereal Botanical Fragrance: I got a tiny sample of this unisex fragrance in last November’s Beauty Heroes delivery and I LOVE it. I smell spicy cinnamon and vanilla with burning wood and deep forest botanicals.  It’s beautiful and definitely for those who want a strong and confident scent. Oh and one more thing, it lasts all day! $145

Max and Me and More

Purity & Grace: This is Max and Me’s 100% organic cleansing oil and I can say without a doubt this this the best cleansing oil I have used. Max and Me uses high vibrational ingredients in their skincare. They say the higher an ingredient vibrates, the purer, gentler, more intense it is – and it can better communicate on a cellular level meaning it is more focused on effects, more potent in healing capacities and more talented in targeting troubled conditions. Max and Me is truly a one of a kind skincare line. They also won Best In Show at the LA Indie Beauty Expo this year for Best Face Oil. Obviously.

Purity & Grace is light, smells like a botanical fairytale, goes on smooth with absolutely no drag and removes all impurities. I’ve been tempted to leave it on as a moisturizer its just feels SO good. And it’s gone. Check out my Max and Me review! $69

Zoe Organics Bath Wash: I snagged this as a bath soap for my kids and I like it. This soap is cruelty-free, non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free and organic. It is plant based and basically a castile soap that foams when it is pumped out of the dispenser. This wash is light, foamy and free of harsh detergents which is great, especially for my Quinn who has mild eczema. It’s great for washing the boys hair and body but not dense enough to use to make a bubble bath. $14

EiR NYC: EiR NYC is an organic skincare line for men and women – they pride themselves on using natures salves to foster nourishment of the mind, body and soul. The founder Jun Lee is an avid surfer and pretty bad-ass. She sent me her Savasana Body Oil to try and I feel bad it took me so long to say I loved it because I DO! I pretty much killed this bottle within the first week. Smells fantastic – the smell alone will have you at hello, plus it’s super moisturizing and great for summertime. Arnica and calendula infused with organic olive oil plus organic coconut oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E and essentials oils are what’s up. I have the travel size (shown). The full size is $45.

Kari Gran Cleansing Oil: Killed it. I got this in one of my Beauty Heroes boxes last summer and I blew through this cleansing oil like a match on fire. Beauty Heroes sent out the entire Kari Gran cleansing system and I loved it all. I’ve since recommended it to my bestie Jess and she loves this system too. Seriously, do yourself a solid and try their Mini Kit. It comes with trial sizes of their cleansing oil, hydrating tonic, essential serum and their three six five which is an oil SPF 28 – all for $48! You can’t go wrong!

MŪN Aknari Brightening Youth Serum: Um. To Die For. This facial moisturizer’s standout ingredient is Prickly Pear Seed Oil which is extremely rich in Linoleic Acid and super antioxidant Vitamin E. My face has never felt so good. Plump. Hydrated. Fully moisturized. Healthy. Glowing. Dewy. All the adjectives here. I could not put this formula down. Check out my full review. $95

Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask

This is the Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask which is a pretty fair description for what this mask does. Love that it goes on clear and you can go about your day incognito masking (school drop-offs anyone?) Say goodbye to dull skin and hello to a fresh, glowing complexion. It’s so good at removing dead skin and surface debris – you will wonder how you ever lived without it. $58

And that’s what I have loved and finished over the past 6 months or so! Have you tried any of these? What have you finished? What are you loving? Hook me up!
