Here it is! The June Clean Beauty Subscription Roundup!
The Petit Vour Box
I’m on vacation this month and this box arrived after I left so I didn’t get to try it but here’s the scoop! This month we are seeing: an organic eyeliner by FiOR Minerals ($18), Cherry Matte Mattifying Primer by Pacifica ($13), a Shower Sheet by YUNI ($15), plus two luxury skincare minis by Goldfaden MD (Neede-Less and Detox Hydrating Gel).
The Detox Box featuring Captain Blankenship
This month we are seeing $124 worth of Captain Blankenship for $55 – no subscription required. Grab it here!
The Detox Box has been consistently killing it for a year now. Seriously, they just don’t play. Every month you get a HARDY curation from a big name green beauty brand. Not only that, the Detox Box is coming in with a consistent 50% off value for their subscribers. But most of all, I love that there is no subscription required. Detox provides an option to buy single boxes for $55 while if you commit to a subscription you can get them as low as $39.95. This is insane considering we are seeing 5 items this month and one of them is priced at $34 alone!
Okay let’s get to the June box. Anyone looking to amp up their natural hair care game, this one’s for you!!! Here’s what’s included:
Mermaid Sea Salt Hair Spray ($14) – Formulated with Atlantic sea salt, aloe very and nutrient-rich sea kelp. This spray delivers texture and nutrients – it’s not a traditional hair spray that provides hold. I personally think they should have named this product Sexy Beach Hair, but that’s just me!
Golden Waves Sea Salt Shimmer Spray ($28) – This is essentially the Mermaid Sea Salt Hair Spray on DIVA MODE. Very fine gold mica gives hair added illumination, iridescence and life. This effect is subtle and understated – great for any age.
Mermaid Dry Shampoo ($24) – This is a powder dry shampoo made with arrowroot, kaolin and baking soda then infused with palmarosa and geranium oils.
Mermaid Hair Oil ($34) – Jojoba, kukui, argan and fir needle oils protect, soften and hydrate for all-day shine.
Lemongrass & Mint Sea Mineral Soap ($24) – Use this as a hand or body wash – gentle castile soap cleanses while marine minerals like Irish moss, kelp, spirulina and bladderwrack work to condition.
Clean Beauty Box featuring moss + AMBAR
This month’s box is dubbed Sacred Sky and we are seeing $174 worth of moss + AMBAR for $41.95 with a two month commitment. Grab it here!
First let me start off by saying I am IN LOVE with this month’s Clean Beauty Box! I’ve tried a few things by moss in the past and have never been let down – let’s just say I’m a forever fan of their Beurre Celeste Honey-Infused Rinsable Cleansing Balm. Anyways this is my first time trying anything by AMBAR but guess what! Even though moss + AMBAR are two different companies, they are actually created by the same mastermind: Celestyna Brozek.
Celestyna is motivated by her own struggles with teenage and adult acne. And her work aims to treat both acne and aging concerns. Here is what we are seeing this month:
Potentci Intensive – Dermal Repair Hydrating Emulsion ($145) – This is a serum you apply after cleansing + misting and before your moisturizer. It’s designed as a powerful antioxidant complex to protect, rejuvenate and repair. To highlight a few ingredients, it’s formulated with niacinamide to help with hyperpigmentation and acne scar reduction and pomegranate phytosterols to help prevent transdermal water loss. This serum is BEAUTIFUL!
Micellar Cleansing Essence – Residue-Free Cleanse ($29) – OMG, LOVE THIS! If you read my Natural Evening Skincare Routine, you will see I mentioned AMBAR’s Cleansing Essence. You apply this to a cotton round and wipe all over your face to take off any residual residue. Micellar is hot right now and each one is formulated to with it’s own strengths. This one? Hydration.
I LOVE this one for two reasons. First, with the addition of viola tricola + yucca extracts, it’s actually hydrating. Not stripping at all. And second, you can use this in so many ways. It’s not great at night as a first cleanse to take off makeup but it’s pretty much got your back in any other situation: morning cleanse, second cleanse after taking off makup, cleanser on the go (gym, travel..), hydrating toner, refresh between sunscreen applications…
I love the color, the formulation, the way it makes my skin feel, how it works….EVERYTHING! I mean it even smells like roses for crying out loud. My only complaint is I wish we got a bigger size. But I will make it work!

Beauty Heroes Featuring Agent Nateur
This month we are seeing $153 worth of Agent Nateur for $42.95 with a three month commitment. Sign up by 6/20 to get this month’s discovery!
Agent Nateur is hot right now. We saw them last month in The Detox Box and we are seeing them again this month with Beauty Heroes. I mean, when a brand does it right, everyone wants a piece – and founder Jena Covello does it right. She also happens to formulate my fave deodorant too which you can read more about here.
This month we are seeing a full size Holi (Skin) Ageless Body Serum ($95) and a deluxe size 10 ml Holi (Oil) Refining Ageless Face Serum ($58).
Ageless Body Serum is formulated with rice bran, rosehip, rose, argan, apricot and grapeseed oils that are blended with caffeine and theobromine to support a smoother appearance. Scented with sandalwood and helichrysum.
Refining Ageless Face Serum is formulated with elastin-promoting calcium, collagen building vitamin c and a proprietary blend of vitamins and nutrients. And it’s been clinically shown to help sagging skin by reinforcing the body’s ability to produce its own hyaluronic acid.

Boxwalla featuring 5 Yina
This month we are seeing $190 worth of 5 Yina for just $49.95 – Sign up for the Boxwalla subscription by 6/10 to get this selection. You can cancel your subscription anytime.
This is a notable feature because 5 Yina hit the clean beauty scene in 2015 but this is the first time they have ever agreed to be involved in a subscription. History in the making friends!
I wanted to start off by talking a little bit about the 5 Yina formulators Angela and Ervina – they have it going ON! Check this out. Angela Chau is a trained Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner, a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, plus she also studied Plant Biology in UC Berkeley AND has a Masters in TCM. And Ervina Wu is also a trained TCM practitioner. She did her PhD in Zhejiang Chinese Medical University in TCM Dermatology with clinical training in autoimmunology. And to put this in perspective, she is one of 50 registered TCM derms in the U.S. I know. I KNOW! So good.
5 Yina is formulated keeping the seasons in mind and honoring the fact we have different skincare needs for each season. Boxwalla and 5 Yina have chosen to send out their LUCENT Summer Beauty Ritual which includes Lucent Hydrolat ($45) and Lucent Beauty Oil ($145). This box is super timely and a beautiful addition to anyones skincare routine.
Lucent Hydrolat – Loving this mist. It’s like an anti-inflammatory salad for your face! Here we see a base of aloe vera with distillates of cucumber, helichrysum, peppermint, honeysuckle and witch hazel plus honeysuckle, green tea, snow mushroom, ginseng, lotus leaf and more.
Lucent Beauty Oil – Lightweight, refreshing and soaks right in. This oil is loaded with vitamins, antioxidants and active phytonutrients and is PERFECT for summer.
Try 5 Yina via Boxwalla here! This box was supposed to close today but the deadline has been extended to 6/10.
