June Empties: Products I Finished Last Month

June 15, 2016

Sharing is caring!

Some products you take a chance on and you end up crushing them. These are too good not to share. Say hello to my empties for the past few months – products I will definitely repurchase!

Uncle Harry’s Peppermint Toothpaste: So many natural toothpastes disappoint – they either leave breath feeling less than fresh or they have some questionable ingredients like glycerin, carrageenan, fluoride, or SLS to name a few. Uncle Harry’s cleans teeth and leaves your mouth feeling fiery fresh – so good. Made with Bentonite clay, calcium carbonate, micorfiltered water, silver mineral, sea salt, ionic minerals, mustard seed and essential oils – it is also gluten free and vegan. Nontoxic and great for topically remineralizing teeth. I like the peppermint the best. Great for grownups – a little too strong for kids. 10.95 with free shipping on Amazon Prime.

May Lindstrom Youth Dew: If you looking for a new face moisturizer – look no further! This face oil is the bomb! Packed with 20 regenerating plant and botanical oils, it is great for all types of skin including blemish prone skin.  I love love love the weight of this oil, it assimilates perfectly locking in just the right amount of moisture. No oily or dry patches. Deep orange in color, this potent formula will make your skin so happy! A well worth is splurge. 120.00

True Botanicals Cleanser: This cleanser is super mild and played a huge role in turning my skin type from combo to normal. Harsh cleansers strip oils from your face leaving them feeling squeaky clean or tight or even looking red – usually they are foaming or come in an astringent pad like those Noxzema facial wipes.  No good ladies! Switch to a mild cleanser like this one and your face will be balanced, moisturized and glowing. It sloughs off dirt and leaves skins essential oils in tact. I can’t say enough about this cleanser – I miss it so much!!!

True Botanicals Shampoo: BEST EVER SHAMPOO! This empty is a sad loss and a repurchase for sure. I have found a couple of green, nontoxic shampoos that work for me but this one still reigns in at top spot. It has a certain je ne sais quoi to it – it just foams a little quicker, cleans a little better and I don’t need as much product to find success.  Plus clean hair lasts a day or two longer with this product. I love it. The pump leaked on me this past time so next time I will refrain from using the pump and keep the screw cap on because I need every little drop of this magic potion I can get! 32.00

Meow Meow Tweet Deodorant: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I LOVE Meow Meow Tweet deodorant. This is a cream that you apply with your fingers. MMT also just released a deodorant in stick form which I can’t wait to try! This deodorant goes on smooth, lasts all day and it works. It is baking soda based but they also have an arrowroot based alternative for sensitive underarms.  Use code ORGANICBABY through the end of June for 10% off your order. 14.00

Prim Body Oil: I got this body oil in one of my Goodbeing Boxes – I have been loving body oils as a substitute for lotions. Lotions are made with water and because of this, a preservative system is required which traditionally means an introduction of synthetics into the equation. So I originally switched to oils as a cleaner option but then I fell in love. A good oil will not leave you feeling greasy or slimy. Like this one, it soaks right in and moisturizes leaving legs and arms nourished and hydrated.  It is easy to use a lot so this tester was gone in a jiff. Smells amazing too. Full size: 54.00

Hynt Mascara in black: Hynt mascara is so good. Apply a couple of coats and it both lengthens and adds volume without getting spidery. This is the most volume I have seen with a nontoxic mascara. Plus absolutely no 4pm flaking and definitely no nasties here. I love alternating between this and my W3ll People purple mascara on playful days. – 24.00

Leahlani Skincare Mermaid Mask: This honey-based mask cleanses and softens skin.  It is a pleasure to use and it tastes dang delicious! (Oops!) It is deep green in color from the addition of two superfoods: organic chlorella and organic spirulina. Handcrafted in small batches on the island of Kauai – this mask will knock your socks off. A must have in any green beauty routine! – 32.00
