Hope everyone had a great weekend! We hit up the traveling Jurassic Quest show which I highly don’t recommend unless you want to wait for hours to get into the exhibit, then wait an hour in line so your kid can jump on a bounce house for a timed three minutes before moving on to the next hour long line. But that’s a story for another day!
Welcome to the second edition of Kinda Obsessed! I have some fun things to share with you guys today so without further ado…check it out!
Go Pure Pod – This little travel water filter filters over 250 gallons of water for some of the most egregious contaminants. Each pod lasts up to 6 months and only takes 1 minute to filter. I keep these in my boy’s water bottles for fill ups at school. I also love them for me when I travel: hotels, roadside fill ups, airports, conferences. A total game changer!
May Lindstrom’s Blue Cocoon – Um, where has this serum been my whole life!? Solid until it hits your skin and then melts into a healing, anti-inflammatory soother. Apply it to a wet face and it just soaks right in leaving skin plump and and content. Good for day or night but the best part is? It’s been doubling as my eye serum and totally working for me! It’s a splurge but considering its both a moisturizer and an eye treatment it’s kinda justifiable. Obsessed.
Homemade Vanilla – So easy. So much cheaper than store bought. Way more delicious. And best of all, made with REAL ingredients (cuz store-bought ain’t!)
True Botanicals Shampoo – It’s my one and only. I tried all the nontoxic shampoos and I was just about to go back to my toxic Pantene until I found this treasure. It’s a little spendy but it actually CLEANS my hair hair leaving it light and bouncy (no greasy nape!) – Smells so pretty too!
Madewell 9″ High Rise Skinny – Dare I say, the perfect jean!? I’ve been wearing these jeans for 2 years now – I have them in black, jean and white. They are high enough in the waist so they actually sit above your hip bone but not too high where it looks faddy. So definitely no risk of backside exposure and way less slouch. My bestie and sister have them too and they agree! Worth it!
Force Of Nature Cleaning System – This kit turns salt, vinegar and water into an all-purpose cleanser that rivals conventional. I’ve been using it for over a month now and I’m sold. Cleans my counter tops and bathrooms – sans all the nasty health compromising chemicals. Best part? Once you have the kit, the refills are only $1 each! Economical too!
Fitglow Beauty Lip Color Serums – Say no more. Pretty much the best green beauty “lip gloss” I’ve tried. I have it in Beach Glow, Gospel, GO and Nudie and I love them all equally. Okay maybe Beach Glow steals my heart. Adds a gloss, beautiful color and lush moisture without the stickiness or dwight. (Who’s dwight? Dwight around your lips! Haha!) Plus it has natural ingredients that work to diminish the appearance of fine lines. It also does your dishes – sike. Obsessed.
