Hope you guys had a great weekend! I was in Cherry Hill, New Jersey for a sign language interpreting conference. I love interpreting and I got to meet and learn from some of the best over the weekend. Plus I got to hit up some cool foodie spots like Heart Beet and P.S. & Co (which was AHmazing). Eating clean always poses a challenge when traveling so I like to come prepared. This time I brought some hard boiled eggs, these, this and of course this and it totally helped fill in the gaps!
Okay now on to some things I have been kinda obsessed with lately.
Vapour Aura Multi Use Classic – I am totally in love with this multi stick. It comes in several shades and can be used as a blush, eyeshadow and/or lipstick! It’s literally like the perfect travel companion and Johnny On The Spot for on-the-go touchups. This cream formula wears beautifully on younger or more mature skin types – no settling into the cracks plus I love its creamy finish. Formulated with nourishing oils, Vapour Beauty truly blurs the lines between skincare and makeup. Plus it’s organic to the max. I have this in several colors but I have to say I’m partial to Spark. Grab yours here!
OSMIA Linden Rose Hand Cream – Oh. My. Heavens. I searched for years for a great nontoxic hand cream but all of them seemed to be just a little too greasy. Well my search ended with OSMIA friends. Their hand cream is moisturizing, light, non-greasy, smells beautifully understated and is super clean to boot! Comes in Linden Rose – which is scented with organic Bulgarian Rose otto (which is like $500/oz by the way!) or Vanilla Shea – I like them equally. Comes in a pump and is the perfect size for your bag. Get it!
Innersense I Create Lift Volumizing Foam – If you are looking for a clean moose, this is the closest you will get. It pumps out light, foamy and airy and I’ve been loving it to style my 4-year-old son’s hair. Some products lose their hold after a few hours but this one stays pretty good – plus it’s light enough for my son’s fine hair but strong enough to keep it in place. Try it!
Hynt Beauty’s Sun Prep Broadspectrum Sunscreen SPF 25 – This (and Josh Rosebrook’s Nutrient Day Cream SPF 30) are my total go-tos for everyday SPF coverage. Sun Prep is super light and easy to wear under makeup. It pumps out white but rubs into clear. It smells amazing. But my fave part is it does not sit greasy AT ALL! That’s my problem with most face SPFs they are too greasy for me and I can feel them on my face. Well not this one. It literally goes on, sinks in and you don’t even know it’s there. Plus it acts as a foundation primer too. I mean it doesn’t get much better than this! A must for summer. Get it girl!
Coyuchi Organic Percale Sheets – I have these in Pale Ocean and I love them. But first let me set the stage. I love a sheet that is crisp, clean and semi rough/taught – the kind of cotton that has no give to it. You know what I mean? I hate sheets that are soft and slippery. Like satin sheets would be my worst nightmare. So if you identify with this, the secret to getting a great sheet is looking for percale blend cotton. These organic ones by Coyuchi are my everything. Not to mention this color – gorgeous. Also, a word to the wise; avoid white sheets or patterned sheets with white in them…they just get dingy over time and are never the same where as colored sheets stay fresh looking forever!
Hannah Anderson Organic Cotton PJs – Organic matching PJs for the whole fam anyone?! (We actually never went the matching family route – but they’ve come out with so many new patterns, I think I could actually get everyone on board with this red, white + blue getup!) I love outfitting my boys in organic cotton at night. Kids spend half their life in bed! These jammies hold up over time and they have super cute, seasonal and festive patterns. I am just about to order more!
Dry Farm Wines – Okay I know I’ve talked about this delivery service a couple of times now but seriously, I CAN’T GET ENOUGH! It’s legit the best wine I’ve ever tasted. Plus it’s natural, organic and/or biodynamic. It’s kinda ruined me because I can never go back! Must-try!
4th & Heart Ghee – If you haven’t tried cooking with ghee yet – get on it! Ghee is clarified butter that is heated, reduced and filtered. What remains is a fat that is lactose + dairy free. It also has one of the highest smoke points at 465°. You don’t want to cook or heat a fat over it’s smoke point because that’s when essential minerals and enzymes are destroyed and free radicals (that can damage our bodies) are released. 4th & Heart is grassfed, non-GMO and super artisanal with flavors like Himalayan Salt, Madagascar Vanilla Bean, California Garlic and White Truffle Salt. I’ve tried them all and they are simply mouthwatering. Try!
Okay that’s it for now…what are you obsessed with lately?
