Birchrose + Co Body Polish in Ginger + Citrus Lavender $22
When I first opened this box, my eyes were immediately drawn to this beauty! Packaged in glass with a sleek logo, this body polish is made with: organic coconut oil, salt of the Dead Sea, organic cane sugar, organic dried lavender and a blend of organic and wild harvested essential oils. Love the organic and clean ingredients but what really stood out is the addition of this beautiful dried lavender. How gorgeous is this!?
And all of this before I even opened the polish! Not only does it look good, it smells good too. Like fresh sweet lemony, lavender and lets be honest, this is the perfect addition to my summer skincare battery. If you have never used a scrub on you feet – it is essential for summer! Wearing flip flops, sandals or open toed shoes can leave feet looking haggard – don’t let that be you! This scrub will help slough away dead skin while delivering a serious dose of moisture. Hooked after one use, you will wonder how you ever lived without it. Also great for elbows, knees, upper arms or any other rough bits.
*Safety first! Be careful not to fall in the tub because the oil will leave your feet slippery until you dry them off.
Province Apothecary’s Regenerating + Stimulating Exfoliator $16
I had the pleasure of meeting Province Apothecary founder Julie Clark at the Indie Beauty Expo Dallas two weeks ago. Julie is a certified holistic esthetician and aromatherapist and is committed to innovation, sustainability and small-batch skincare. I took home a few of her products from the show and I LOVE them so I was wicked excited to see her line represented here!
We get to try her Regenerating + Stimulating Exfoliator. This is a facial exfoliator that comes dry and you mix it with water, oil, honey or yogurt depending on your skin type or preference. I actually love that it is formulated dry because when no water is added, no preservative is necessary. LOVE. She uses oats to calm and soften, green tea to stimulate and rejuvenate + lavender to calm and heal. Check out the full ingredient list:
Organic oat flour, organic lentil flour, organic lavender, organic flax seed, organic violet flowers and leaves, organic green tea leaf.
BKIND Hand Balm $16
This is my first time trying anything by BKIND and I love a good hand balm so this was a win win for me. Made with shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba seed oil, grapefruit oil, pineapple fruit extract, tocopherol, grapefruit extract; this balm has a light powdery scent and BRINGS the moisture.
Native Nectar Botanical Body Oil $17.50
Okay so if you know anything about me at all you know I love a good body oil! This one caught my eye right away with a scent profile of rose + sandalwood + neroli – are you kidding me!? So good! I also love the addition of rose buds – can you see them? It just ups the elegance ante. This oil is packaged in glass with a drip top to keep too much oil from coming out.
You can use this as a daily moisturizer in lieu of your lotion. I love applying straight out of the bath when skin is warm and ready to receive moisture. This oil looks good, smells good and moisturizes. Here are the ingredients:
Apricot kernel oil, sweet almond oil, safflower seed oil, calendula extract, dried roses, rose otto oil, neroli oil, sandalwood oil, jojoba oil and coconut oil.
