Art of Organics May JET SET

Hey, hey hey! It’s the first of the month and we all know what that means! Rent’s due – ha! And also, beauty boxes drop! I have four subscriptions to bring you this week. I’ll be updating this post as the week goes on so be sure to check back. These are three….no wait, FOUR of my fave natural beauty subscriptions. They offer the best of the best, they are heavily discounted and they are a fantastic way to discover new. Get ready to treat yo’ self! The latest? Boxwalla!

Boxwalla featuring MOSS Skincare

Boxwalla is shipped every two months so technically this is June’s box. My first time trying anything MOSS. We are seeing their Illumina Vitamin C Perfecting Treatment Intensif and Beurre Céleste. Get ready for this…a $215 value for $49.95!!!!!

Illumia is a serum working both as gentle exfoliating treatment as well as a vitamin C treatment. Best to use at night and not combined with any other exfoliating treatments. This can be used 1-3/4x a week depending on your skin type/needs. It can also be used as a spot treatment as well as a weekly brightening mask. This product sounds um…amazing!? I can’t wait to dive in. ($145)

Beurre Céleste is an oil cleanser, cleansing balm, raw honey cleanser and hydrating mask all in one. This formula is super thick, packed densely with all the face nutrition. I love applying and then adding a little water to my fingertips to emulsify – really helps to work it into my skin. Leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. I can’t wait to try it as a hydration mask!

If you want in on this box, order before 5/20! Boxes will be sent out the first week of June.

Art Of Organics Featuring JET SET! (only a handful left as of 5/9!)

Perfect for those on the go. Art of Organics is featuring an exclusive stacked travel pouch! This pouch includes: BYBI Babe Balm ($40), Kahina Giving Beauty’s Prickly Pear Under-Eye Rollerball ($40) and Odacité’s Synergy mask ($5) and Clean Beauty Essentials Organic Cotton Travel Pouch ($20).  A $105 value for $39!

BYBI Babe Balm can be used as a moisturizer, skin protector, brow tamer, makeup remover glow enhancer, lip balm and hand moisturizer all in one. I love a good balm and this one lives up to the hype. I travel all the time and I can totally see myself using this all up especially since it’s TSA compliant and easy to carry on. Plus, it’s packaged in a biodegradable sugar cane tube and won’t spill or break.

Kahina’s Prickly Pear Seed Oil in it’s new packaging. Traveling can be tough on the skin so you definitely want some tried and true to get you through the puffiness and dehydration fallout. This oil is packed with essential vitamins and fatty acids to do the trick. But best of all it’s an all-in-one! You can use this as an eye serum and/or a facial oil. Plus it’s in a roller ball so it wont spill in your bag. Oh! And there is only one ingredient in this formula: 100% organic Prickly Pear Seed Oil. Prickly Pear is one of my favorite ingredients and it totally works magic on my skin – this gem wont leave my side!

Odacité Synergy Mask is a one  (maybe 2) time use mask included for a little extra TLC. It promises to detox pores, gently exfoliate, brighten and firm. I happen to love all things Odacité so this was a welcomed surprise.

Included is this AO exclusive Clean Beauty Essentials organic cotton travel pouch – super cute right!? PS, organic cotton uses 71% less water and 62% less energy to grow. Even better.

Art of Organics has a minimum commitment of 2 months and you can cancel at-will after that. Membership also includes a 15% discount to any items in their online shop.

The Detox Box Featuring One Love Organics

We are seeing $169 worth of goodies in this month’s Detox Box for the usual $49.95 – WOW! The Detox Market is shipping out One Love Organics’ Vitamin C Body Oil ($58) and Vitamin C Face Serum ($75). Both of these are packed with vitamin C and reminiscent of OLO signature sweet scent which I once heard described as white gummy bear which I think is spot on.

one love organics vitamin c

Vitamin C Body Oil is super viscous and pumps out like a thin gel. It goes on and grips the skin delivering some serious moisture. Leaves skin looking dewy and glowing. Star ingredients here are vitamin C ester, nourishing shea oil, green tea and exfoliating papaya enzymes.

Vitamin C Facial Serum is also super viscous and delivers some serious moisture – one pump is enough to cover your whole face. Leaves skin looking dewy and glowing. I’ve been loving this as an overnight treatment. Key ingredients here are vitamin C ester, plant-powered vitamin C complex including rosehip, baobab, acerola, green tea and sea buckthorn.

The smell alone here has me all ga-ga!

May Beauty Heroes Featuring OSEA

Beauty Heroes is featuring OSEA this month. A popular Malibu based brand who harnesses the skin benefits of seaweed! We are seeing their Undaria Body Polish ($48) and their Ocean Cleanser ($44) – a $92 value for less than $39. If you sign up for Beauty Heroes you get industry leading picks and new releases, at a fraction of the cost. Beauty Heroes requires a three month commitment (and you can cancel at-will after that). Oh and members get 15% off at the Beauty Heroes online shop. ALWAYS. (This is huge because they carry so many amazing brands all in one place!)

Beauty Heroes OSEA

The hero product this month is: Undaria Body Polish – a micro-grit exfoliator housed in a viscus seaweed cream. It goes on opaque but as you work the grains into your skin it turns clear. It smells like lavender with a hint of mint to me which is super fun and refreshing. The seaweed base is a blend of wakame and red-alge gigartina. Together these seaweeds are designed to increase circulation and improve skin health by delivering minerals, antioxidants and essential fatty acids.

I like to apply and scrub up before taking a shower. Undaria’s got a great grit that holds it’s ground, won’t dissolve, is not too large, not too abrasive but delivers just the right amount of power to unveil soft skin. What is it?  Fine ground pumice stone! Undaria Body Polish leaves skin feeling super soft and smooth. As you rinse off, it turns a bit slippery so I like going in and finish with a sea sponge or a loofa to make sure it is fully removed. Beauty Heroes recommends capitalizing by taking this opportunity to shave – no shaving cream needed!

The sidekick this month is OSEA’s Ocean Cleanser. It’s a creamy gel that works to remove makeup and grime. I like adding a little water to it to boost slip and induce a milky foam. It also doubles as an aromatherapy treatment smelling of lime, cypress, juniper and jasmine. I really love how it smells – kinda like Sweet Tarts. In addition to being pH balanced, it’s also designed to boost moisture retention and deposit vitamins and minerals. Packaged in glass with a pump. This product screams chic!

Last month The Detox Market featured OSEA in their Detox Box and it sold out in practically a day so if you are interested in this brand, get on it!
