Here it is! The October Clean Beauty Subscription Roundup is in the house!
The Detox Box featuring Kjaer Weis
This month’s Detox Box is so exciting. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen Kjaer Weis featured in a beauty box! This is $121 worth of Kjaer Weis for as little as $39.95/mo with a subscription or $55 as a one-time purchase. Available now while supplies last. More details here!
Are you as excited as I am for this month’s Detox Box!? If you haven’t heard of Kjaer Weis before, they are a luxury brand out of Italy. Almost all of their products have been Certified Natural or Certified Organic by the stringent standards of the country’s certification body, the Controllo e Certificazione Prodotti Biologici. This brand is so chic, you can also find it front and center at Barneys. Here’s what’s included:
The Lip Balm, $50 – Heavy on the moisture but light on this lips, nourishing Brazil nut oil and soothing chamomile work their magic here. But what I really can’t get enough of here is this uber chic packaging. I want to take this out of my bag just to flash it around whether I really need to use it or not!
Eye Shadow in Charmed, $45 – I love the Kjaer Weis pressed shadows and I have them in a few shades but Charmed is the perfect everyday hint of HELLO. I love this as an overall wash of color on the lid – it just polishes off a look without being in your face about it. Also, this packaging sits super heavy in your hand, it’s extra luxe and the best part is, it’s refillable!
Eye Pencil refill in brown, $26 – The original sells for $30 and comes with a beautiful metal cap that can be transferred to your “refill.” Here we are getting a “refill” in the shade brown that does not come with a cap.
The October Petit Vour Box
This month we are seeing $70 worth of cruelty free goodies for as low as $15/month with a year subscription or $18/month (cancel anytime). Order by 10/31 to receive this box. More here!
Here’s what’s included:
KVOSS Shine On Stick, 2.7ml, $28 – a pretty highlighter stick with a buildable, blendable glow.
Province Apothecary Moisturizing Cleanser + Makeup Remover, 30ml, $20 – I love a good oil cleanse and Province Apothecary is one of the cleanest on the market. Think raspberry, bergamot, frankincense and lavender.
Akar Skin Balance Toning Mist, 15ml, $12 – This rose and orange blossom mist is formulated to provide gentle hydration, neutralize pH and allow greater absorption of nutrients.
Luxe Botanics, Camu Brightening Moisturizer, 7ml, $10 – This is a moisturizing cream that’s rich in vitamin c camu camu. Camu camu is an Amazonian super fruit that works to fade the appearance of dark spots and repairs environmental damage.
Clean Beauty Box featuring Flowerspice and Henné
This month’s box is dubbed Transform and we are seeing $143 worth of clean beauty for $41.95 with a two month commitment. Grab it here!
Clean Beauty Box (formally Art of Organics) is delivered every two months and is a great way to experience clean product for less. This month we are seeing two full size products from two different brands. Here’s the scoop:
FlowerSPICE Instant Glow Calming Exfoliator, $98 – There is nothing that makes me more happy than a quick mask. I mean, there are only so many minutes in a day and if I can check “masking” off my list in just 60 seconds, I call that a win. This creamy formula moisturizes thirsty skin while fruit acids enzymatically exfoliate to deliver an instant glow. This mask exfoliates and moisturizes at the same time SO this is a great option for someone who has dryer skin. Exfoliate the dry flakes and moisturize at the same time sister!
Henné Organics Lip Serum, $45 – I had the pleasure of trying this formula when it first dropped and it was so fun to rediscover it this month. This is an oil. So when you apply it, expect a slip and a super thin viscosity. It’s formulated with a blend of oils containing antioxidants and essential fatty acids to nourish and smooth. It’s more of a quick hit treatment. Don’t expect staying power here like you would get with a balm-based treatment. LOVE the 24K gold plated rollerball. #ballin’
Henné recommends using this formula two times a day (one time both AM and PM) to strengthen lips protective barrier, nourish and smooth.
Beauty Heroes featuring Josh Rosebrook
Yeah, I just said it!!! Josh Rosebrook is in the house ladies and gents! Here’s what’s up: The Josh Rosebrook October discovery has a total value of $122. It’s available as a one time purchase for $58.95 or you can get it as low as $37.96 with a year subscription. Order by 10/20 to get this selection. Check out Beauty Heroes subscription options here!
If you haven’t met Josh Rosebrook yet, this is one of my favorite clean beauty skincare lines. Super organic, super clean, crazy innovative and strait up effective. I especially love his Active Enzyme Exfoliator, Antioxidant Cacao Mask and Firm Hold Hairspray. Here’s what we are seeing this month:
Hydration Boost Concentrate, $42 – A BRAND NEW JOSH RELEASE! Say hello to Hydration Boost Concentrate. This is an oil-free + essential-oil free serum is formulated to help maximize hydration by delivering botanical hyaluronic acid, moisture attracting humectantas and potent phytonutrients.
This is a water-based serum that you wear under your oil serum and/or moisturizers. You only need 2-3 drops for it to really help drive moisture.
Here are a couple things that I love. First, it’s almost weightless so it’s really easy to layer. So you can add this into your skincare routine, no matter what your routine is, almost seamlessly. So your routine would look like this: cleanse, mist, Hydration Boost Concentrate and everything else as usual.
I also love that this formula is essential-oil free. Adding another layer into your routine can be daunting but because HBC is practically weightless AND it has no added fragrance/scents – it’s honestly so easy to layer in yet it delivers big results.
Hydrating Accelerator, $35 – A long time fan of Hydrating Accelerator. (And all the vanilla fans raise their hands!) This mist not only smells yummy like sweet vanilla, it’s also serious about delivering hydration. On the spectrum of toners/mists this one sits on the heavier side and can even be classified as a light moisturizer. My maturing skin can not get enough and I know I’m not alone, I gave a sample to my chiropractor two weeks ago and he won’t stop talking about it!
Vital Balm Cream, $42 – Is it a balm…is it a cream…you decide! This rich moisturizer is formulated with aloe vera, Ashwaganda, avocado, Indian Senna Seed, honey and Blue Tansy which is what gives it that ice blue color.
