Creating a packing list for vacation can feel like an overwhelming task, even more so if you’re trying to shove it all into a carry-on (raises hand). But since I’ve been doing it for my last few trips, I wanted to share what I brought along on a two-week East Coast summer vaca.
I was so excited to be able to head home to Boston for two weeks this summer to spend time with friends and fam. I grew up in Boston, although I’ve lived in Atlanta for the past 5 years, and it’s slowly starting to feel like home too.
But packing for a summer trip to New England is always a challenge. You never know what you are going to get. Cold days. Cold nights. Hot days. A rare hot night. Rain. (Snow? lol.)
Because I could do it for a one-week trip to Italy and because it made my husband happy, I fit ALL the below into my compact / sustainable Paravel carry on + beach bag—and I thought you’d like to see what I brought along for the ride.
If I couldn’t find the exact item, I linked something similar (marked with an *). Enjoy!
