Trying to pack for that upcoming beach vacation and feeling overwhelmed, even more so if you’re trying to shove it all into a carry-on (raises hand)? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered with this two week sunny destination packing list! I include recommendations for sunscreen products, toiletries to bring, books, outfits, shoes and so much more.

IN THIS POST:

I was so excited to be able to head home to Boston for two weeks this summer to spend time with friends and fam. I grew up in Boston, although I’ve lived in Atlanta for the past 5 years, and it’s slowly starting to feel like home too.

But packing for a summer trip to New England is always a challenge. You never know what you are going to get. Cold days. Cold nights. Hot days. A rare hot night. Rain. (Snow? lol.)

Because I could do it for a one-week trip to Italy and because it made my husband happy, I fit ALL the below into my compact / sustainable Paravel carry on + beach bag—and I thought you’d like to see what I brought along for the ride.

Enjoy these sustainable travel ideas!

Lisa! We need a video tutorial on how you did this. It’s not that I don’t believe you. You’ve never steered me wrong but you may have super human packing abilities 🙂

Hi Michelle! To be honest, I was shocked when we typed this all up, it truly does look impossible lol. A lot of it is taking samples or travel sizes of personal care. Also, rolling items instead of folding them makes so much more room. Also, packing things inside of sneakers helps too. And lastly, don’t let the size of my tote fool you, it’s huge and it was full ; )
